Gourmet Corner @ Bandar Baru Klang

Selamat Hari Raya AidilAdha to all my Muslim friends! :D

Public holiday people! Time to get my tummy filled with good food! :D
I long craved for the Western food in this shop. Specialty, the soft, delicious bun.
And headed there with boyfriend after shopping around in Aeon Bukit Raja, located only 5 mins away.

Gourmet Corner Western Food

It's more to an open-area cafe.

Menu
Look how reasonable the prices were for a dish of Western food! Plenty of varieties.

Menu of Beverages - receipt slip

Mushroom Soup - RM3.80
Simple but savory. Doesn't taste like those from tin-can.

Watermelon Juice (Giant) - RM6.50
Good to share with 2.

Cheese Chicken Chop served with fries, coleslaw & bun - RM14.30
The taste of cheese wasn't really strong. So it's okay for non-cheese lover to give it a try.

STAR OF THE DAY
Freshly baked bun.
Very savoury, soft, fluffy, simply delicious butter bun! EAT IT WHILE IT'S HOT.

Oriental Chicken Chop served with fries, coleslaw & bun  - RM 12.30
Basically it's East meets west. Chicken chop with mixed veges in sweet & sour sauce.

Then we sat a lil' longer chit-chatting with our huge watermelon juice before heading for '2nd round' (supper)!

It was quite windy & the smell of food people steamboat coming from next door was really strong.

Butter Buns - RM0.50 each
Yup. You can buy them back individually like how you did in a bakery shop.
Hehe dabao-ed (take away) 2 buns back for my family to give it a try! :D

Total Bill: RM37.90

Next, we proceeded to Restoran Vasagaie aka Esso Mamak for supper.
Lepak sesh with our friends as we hardly get to meet up since everyone has started their university lives.
Ordered Roti Canai with sugar along with Teh O'Ais.

So many crowds, so little workers.
Yea, happens all the time. You can hardly get someone to take your order when the shop is really busy.
And they wouldn't bother to look around if there's anybody raising their hands up to order.

Satay Ayam served with cucumbers & red onions - RM0.60/stick
*Additional charges for nasi impit.
Tried this Satay for the 2nd time. Runs by a young Malay guy with his stall at the corner of the restaurant.
The smell of the smoke while he fans the charcoal fire on the skew, grilling the tasty sticks of satays, DAYUM!
I personally loved the satay kuah kacang. It goes really well with the wonderfully seasoned satay.
